Lara M. Foss

Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work on transformative projects and collaborate with creative and influential individuals. My passion for storytelling has allowed me to support organizational missions and strengthen cultures, using strategic communications to drive system-level change and address societal issues.

I co-founded a production company that planned, promoted, and executed large-scale events to raise funds for nonprofits. I also co-founded a consulting business, which later evolved into a software company, focused on helping organizations and teams understand how operational tasks align with broader personal, organizational, and universal goals, strategies, and values.

After earning a Master's in Public Leadership from the LBJ School at UT Austin, I co-facilitated systems thinking courses with an internationally respected executive leadership coach. In 2019, I served as the Communications Priority Lead for Homelessness at the City of Austin, where I led efforts to shape and change public opinion on this critical issue.

As the former Director of Communications, Marketing, and Community Engagement for the E3 Alliance, I led a comprehensive rebranding process, launched a new visual identity, and initiated a website redesign to better reflect the organization's mission.

As a proud born-and-raised Austinite, I enjoy exploring the city's many trails and watering holes with my two dogs, Buck and Sayde.
